At Wilson James, we have constructed a team from diverse professional backgrounds whose personal values align with our company’s mission of cultivating a genuine connection with both client and candidate to create the best match for your company.
With that being said, let’s get to know who you will be working with!
Ryan Thien – Founder / Headhunter / Recruiter
You have already read a little bit about my background experience, but my job is working with you directly. I listen to you talk about your needs, the qualifications you are looking for in an ideal candidate, and the company’s cultures and values. I communicate these needs to my researcher and sourcers, and I lead the team in our search to find the perfect candidate for you. After we have found some great potential candidates, I review them and set up times with you, so you only receive the most suitable matches for your company. My background in accounting and maintaining my CPA license helps me to understand my clients better, so I can help you find the right fit.
Julie Mallari – Researcher
Julie is our behind-the-scenes expert. She provides our team with a well-curated list of potential candidates. She spends her time researching the open role and understanding the qualifications needed to fill it. Because of her background working with other recruitment firms, her self-discipline, and her natural inclination to help others, she is a crucial part of our process in finding the perfect candidate for you!
John Ellis – Sourcer / Recruitment Specialist
John is one of our two amazing sourcers. His role involves talking to the potential candidates, understanding their backgrounds and experiences, and determining if they might be a good fit for your company. His background in theatre allows him to be comfortable with ambiguity and improvisation, and his diverse understanding of many different fields makes conversing with him enjoyable and easy. He values people and clear communication allowing him to form authentic connections with potential candidates.
Valerie Hall – Sourcer / Recruitment Specialist
Valerie also works as a valuable sourcer by connecting with people through phone calls and emails. She places high priority in evaluating candidates’ needs and career goals as well as determining if their experiences are adequate for the position she is filling. She is a natural conversationalist from her background in customer service positions and loves learning which allows her to adapt to any conversation at any time. She values intentionality with people and helping others achieve their goals.
Gracen Erwine – Marketing & Business Analyst
Gracen is the newest addition to our team. At Wilson James, she spends most of her time focused on the company’s needs in marketing, brand development software, organizational details, and building team relationships. She loves talking and getting to know people and a well-organized space. She finds value in assisting others, and her educational background in International Business equipped her to assist us in organization, marketing, and communication.
